Former Le Mans winner and WEC Champion Martin Plowman is pleased to announce a technical partnership with high fidelity specialists Rock Jaw Audio. The partnership will see the Leicestershire-based brand develop a range of Martin Plowman headphones with Plowman consulting on future headphone development, calling upon his racing experience. The Tamworth-born driver will carry their logo on his GT4 Nissan 370Z as well as on his branded headwear.

Rock Jaw Audio specialise in the design and development of premium quality headphones. Their mission is to dispel the commonly held view that quality of headphones is commensurate with the cost. Rock Jaw Audio work with many DJ’s and other specialist users to push the boundaries of technology to maximise the listening experience. The fledgling brand has only been going for three years but has already developed a comprehensive range of headphones and negotiated nationwide distribution deals.

Martin Plowman commented, “I’m really excited about the new partnership with Rock Jaw Audio. I consider myself a bit of a music nerd and am very picky when it comes to the quality of headphones.” Plowman continues, “When I first met with Joe [Watts, Managing Director of Rock Jaw Audio], I was not only impressed with his incredible story so far but his commitment to producing studio quality headphones without the ridiculous price tag.”

Joe Watts, Managing Director of Rock Jaw Audio, commented, “We’re delighted to welcome Martin on board as we expand our brand offering. Racing drivers are very specialist users of headphones, so Martin’s feedback will be invaluable. We are also looking forward to releasing the MP range of headphones in conjunction with Martin.“ Watts continues, “As we expand, it is important for us to work with a global brand ambassador, and Martin’s professionalism and global fanbase made him the perfect choice for Rock Jaw Audio.”

Martin is racing in the British GT championship this year with UltraTek Racing, developing amateur drivers Richard Taffinder and Tim Eakin in a Nissan 370Z GT4 alongside former BTCC racer and Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher.

The season continues on the 29th April at Rockingham with full live TV coverage available on R Sport, Sky channel 468, Freeview channel 91, Freesat channel 250 and Youview, TalkTalk and BT channel 91.
