It will be a fight to the finish in this weeks Grand Prix of Mosport presented by Mobil 1. Conquest Endurance will be sure of it. For the past three races, Conquest drivers Martin Plowman and David Heinemeier Hansson have driven exceptionally, only to allude the race win and be left holding the second-place trophy. At the last race of the series, held two weekends ago at Lime Rock Park, Plowman laid down the fastest lap in both the race and in the first practice session of the weekend, but due to a slow pitstop, the team found themselves two laps down. Climbing back through the pack, Plowman caught up to the leader but was thwarted by a late-race yellow. It’s with high intensity that the team comes into this weekend. With a consistently fast car and strong drivers, the team has shown the potential for a race-winning weekend.

Martin Plowman, driver: “I’ve never been to Mosport before, but it seems to be a very fast circuit which should suit our car’s performance. I think the whole team and I are eager to get back out on track after Lime Rock, where we proved to be the fastest but fell short of the win in the race with our pitstop issue. I feel confident in my co-driver and my team that with have the ingredients to win. The only thing that has held us back have been some unfortunate mistakes and a sprinkle of bad luck. I believe that the harder you work, the luckier you get. Since Lime Rock the team has worked hard at fixing the issues we had, so I feel we are in the best position we have been in all year to get the job done.”
