Posted on: June 23rd, 2013 by Martin Plowman

Martin Plowman and teammates Bertrand Baguette and Ricardo Gonzalez won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with team OAK Racing in the team’s very first P2 class win!

OAK Racing dominated the P2 category with a 1-2 finish, and the two cars consistently traded places throughout the whole of the 24-hour race. The #35 Morgan-Nissan LMP2 car started ninth in class but quickly joined the front of the field. Rain fell several times during the race, along with several damaged barriers, creating over six hours of safety cheap viagra canada car periods. The #35 team ran a flawless race, avoiding incidents through tough track conditions.

This victory moves the #35 OAK Racing car to the top of the team standings in the World Endurance Championship. The next race in the WEC is the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, September 1st, 2013, the fourth of eight championship races.

Martin Plowman, no.35 Morgan-Nissan LM P2: “It’s incredible. It’s difficult to find the words to describe what I feel. Winning Le Mans is a dream for all young drivers, so this is obviously the highlight of my career to date. I’d like to thank Jacques Nicolet. This race is his dream and his passion. Without him, none of this would have been possible. Our thoughts also go out to the family of Allan Simonsen, because even though I didn’t know him personally, we have all lost a brother today.”
