At the end of a two-month mid-season break, Martin Plowman is ready to take the track again. He will get the chance this weekend at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, the fourth of eight races in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Joining teammates buy viagra legally Bertrand Baguette and Ricardo Gonzalez in their #35 OAK Racing Morgan-Nissan, Plowman hopes to continue the momentum from winning the last race – the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Plowman has been busy during this summer break; he took a short holiday after Le Mans to rest and refresh before he came back full-force in the gym to improve his fitness before the last five races of the season. “I think the summer break has been a benefit to me,” he explained. “My mind was frazzled doing a 24-hour race for the first time, especially with the outcome that we had. So this two-month break was good, just to enjoy it. Because normally you don’t get a chance to enjoy the races that you win because you’re focusing on the next one.”
When asked if he feels as if the team still has momentum, coming off a win at Le Mans over two months prior, Plowman said, “Even though the two-month break is a long time, it gives us time to focus, reset, and work on the things that we were lacking.”
Plowman is particularly excited to visit the home track of his racing idol, Aryton Senna.
Fans will want to watch the intense inter-team rivalry between the #35 car that Plowman drives, and its sister car, the #24 OAK Racing car. The first three races have been a constant battle between the two cars, culminating with an exciting 1-2 finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for OAK Racing. These two cars are also first and second in the LMP2 category of the WEC, and all six drivers are intensely competitive. It will certainly be a website fight to the finish.
